This Fortune 100 employer, with 72 billion in revenue, has this multi-site Business Unit (B/U) Manager role, (#1 on site) the incumbent needs to be a true Business Partner, tops in its field, 400 + person (Division location) with 175 of those people in sales, marketing, customer service, and with global reach, one non-union facility in NY, and they are a global manufacturer of medium/high tech electro-mechanical commercial & industrial equipment. Your experience needs to be in generalist work, O.D. work, with a staff of 4 full time employees, change management process skills, staffing/recruitment, a peer to another series of H/R managers, talent acquisition & assessment skills, it is a Business Unit (B/U) opportunity (Not just a plant operation) that includes plant operations, engineering, and the career track is to the HQ location and H/R platform assignments at the Sr. Manager and Director level. The appointment reports directly to the G/M for the B/U and a dotted line to the Director of H/R at the division level. Good career track for "promotables" that can lead to full platform assignments. This Fortune 250 client is located is in the Greensboro, NC area with a large multi-national inside one of its larger divisions. (1.5 billion) This job covers 850 + employees in the plant operations side of this multi-billion dollar division of this 19 billion dollar corporation. This is a division HQ, inside a division that makes electro-mechanical commercail equipment for the reatil market space, and the job is very "visible" to senior managers in the client groups and the division, hence the candidate needs to be “sophisticated.” Of course they need someone with experience in Generalist skills, union contract & its administration and specifically talent acquisition & assessment, hiring, employee engagement, compensation, policy deployment, and is very metrics driven in H/R. The career path for this person with a manufacturing background leads to Group level H/R appointments, Talent Acquisition Manager roles, and others at the Director of H/R level.
5) Director of Engineeriing role-
A 4 billion dollar plus revenue international employer is looking for "top talent" for the division here in the U.S. (Foreign owned) What they require: A BSME or BSEE with a minimum of 5 to 10 yrs experience in mechanical design and development. Experience with solid modeling, design analysis tools and testing methods is required. Prefer background with controls, medical device, fiber optics, laser/light or similar areas. Needs to be a self motivated, manage a team of design engineers, roll up your sleeves team player and you will “own” the product innovations you bring to the table. (IE- Looking for you to lead the design operations team for this division) This role will lead, development, provide analysis, testing and implementation of breakthrough electromechanical technologies along with medical device technologies in fiber optics and light sources. Experience in medical device that has both ISO 13485 and FDA 510 (k) requirements is preferred. Work with customers to understand their needs. (V.O.C.’s.) The position is located in the beautiful eastern Virginia region of the U.S.. Also, has the capability to be promoted to this and other divisions within the corporation.
6) Manager of H/R role- Greensboro, NC
This Fortune 200 employer is looking for a Manager of H/R in Greensboro with their multi-national division. This jobs covers the sales, marketing, engineering, I/T, and product marketing side of this 1.3 billion dollar division of this 65 billion dollar corporation. (A Fortune 200 corp.) This is a division HQ and the job is very "visible" to senior managers in the client groups and the division, hence the candidates needs to be quite sophisticated. The incumbent also needs to be with a change management & process skills experienced employer at present, with staffing/recruitment experience, talent acquisition & assessment skills are also on the MUST have list. My client has a good career track record for "promotables" that can lead to full platform assignments. The appointment reports to the Sr. Manager of Talent for the division (She is off site) and grows to H/R roles at the senior and H/R manager level, and other various Director of H/R for Business Units around the U.S. (Must have a Senior presence to be effective at this division location)
